My long wait is over!!!

I was walking at the Ayala Station and I thought I saw AMANDA GRIFFIN on the cover of FHM and I thought I was dreaming but Amanda was really on their cover, I just automatically bought the copy when I read AMANDA GRIFFIN on the cover. I've been waiting for her to be on the cover of the FHM, coz I've already bought some magz with her on the cover, like T3, Gadgets, and UNO. Well I'm just really happy that she is on the cover of FHM!


Wait did I already mentioned that AMANDA GRIFFIN is on the cover of FHM? (sorry I'm just really, really, really happy lolz!) anyway here are som of her pics on the mag...

Trends

Its 5:30 in the morning and I'm already up, actually I woke up 4:30 and then I tried going to sleep but can't, and I thought of using my PC since I can't really sleep.

I remember two weeks back that I saw a bunch of guys here wearing punk shirts and "trasher ang porma", I remembered that before the rock bands dominated this country, and Hip hop became a trend those guys were also wearing those big jerseys, with "bling blings" and stuff. I just thought that they just wanted to be "IN" since rock music is the "IN" thing today.

Don't get me wrong I listen to Hip-Hop and I especially love Bone Thugs, N.W.A., Twista, Nelly, Eminem. I loved Hip Hop beacuse of the beat that makes you wanna bounce. And I love listening to Rock and Alternative because of the distorted guitar, the upbeat sound of drums. The only difference between them and me, I understood music in general not just because its the "IN" thing, it's because what these bands, rappers, songwriters make.

Take for example, Kami nAPO muna Album where most of the rock bands did a cover of the APO songs. And of course people loved I did too, but unfortunately these people only loved the Bands that covered the songs, not the one that created the songs... My father loved the APO, I remember when I was young my father owned 4 cassette tapes of APO (2 of them are only left! dammit!) and he would play it on our cassette player every morning, and after that I loved APO because of their music and the way they sung the songs, the blending of their voices. Up to now I'd rather prefer listening to the original than the tribute. It's not just the APO that I learned to love, my father owned a songhits with all the popular songs during the 60's, and he would play it on the guitar and sing it, I always listened to him paly those songs, and then there I met Beatles, Bee Gees, Chuck Berry, The Cascades, Herman's Hermits, Simon and Garfunkel etc.

It's just sad that people only loved Rock because it is the trend today...

Kaboom!

It's been a week since typhoon "MILENYO" hit Manila, and some houses still don't have electric power, while some have, most of them don't have water (that includes us of course). Well luckily because of this water crisis here at our barangay, some of the ''tambays'' have been working and getting paid just to get water for them. I think it's a good thing that they are working instead of just drinking their ass off!

Anyway, we have this huge problem at our office... Well we were told to canvass for a new LCD Projector, and we did. And the chief accountant settled for this brand "Infocus" and costed about 47,000 PHP, well we faxed the Purchase Order to the supplier and told them that we are going to buy it. But yesterday our Chairman questioned the price because he said that we can still find a cheaper price, and he said that around 20,000 PHP we could buy a new one...

Yeah, we did some walking around Gilmore and some people just laughed at us while we were asking them if they have an LCD Projector that costs around 20,000.

The bad news is that the supplier already paid for the projector, so it'll be really really bad if the company didn't buy that one!
